The link you click often contains the discount code embedded in it. In these cases it will be automatically applied in your shopping cart or at checkout (provided you have met the requirements of the coupon).

Always verify your total before completing the checkout process and make sure that the amount reflects the deals, coupons or promotions that you selected.

A coupon code is listed, how do I enter it?

First make sure you click the link associated with the specific coupon you are going to use. This will open a new browser window and redirect you to the stores website. Keep the DefinitiveDeals.com browser window open and make a note of the coupon code that is listed. Most merchants have designated fields for coupons and some ask you to enter it in a comment or notes field when submitting your order. Please note that certain deals do not require entering any coupon codes and are activated by simply clicking the link from this site.

Always verify your total before completing the checkout process and make sure that the amount reflects the deals, coupons or promotions that you selected.

The link I'm clicking on does not work

If you are having trouble with any of the links from this site or the merchant you are linking to, please review these tips:

• Security Software / Antivirus - Make sure that the settings for your Antivirus, Anti-Spyware, Ad blocking software or Browser security settings are not too strict. If you don't have any Anti-Spyware installed, download one and check your system as you might have some unwanted software on your computer that is blocking certain merchant links.
• Allow Cookies - Make sure that your browser settings are not preventing cookies from being set. Almost all merchants uses cookies to handle your shopping cart and also the discount coupon you clicked on. Having cookies disabled might prevent you from receiving the discount or even completing your order.
• Enable JavaSript - Please make sure JavaScript is enabled in your browser. While most of our site operates without JavaScript there are certain links that do require it. Also, many merchants require JavaScript to navigate their site.
• Windows Hosts File - If you are on the Windows platform, make sure that your Windows Hosts file does not contain any "hi-jacked" entries. Certain software like "Kazaa" will modify this file and block access to servers used by our merchants. The quickest is to simply rename the hosts file to hosts.bak and restart your computer and then try the links again. The hosts file is located at:

  • Windows 2K = C:\Winnt\System32\Drivers\Etc
  • Windows 98\ME = C:\Windows

• Allow Pop-Ups - Please make sure that your security settings allow pop-ups from definitivedeals.com. If you are using the Google Toolbar, or other toolbars, make sure that you allow pop-ups for definitivedeals.com. Please note that we do NOT make use of annoying pop-ups or serve any advertising this way. We do however, open a new window when you click on a coupon, deal or merchant link. In addition, certain coupons are launched in pop-up windows from the merchants and as such it's best to allow pop-ups while you complete your purchases.
• Coupon expired - Check to make sure the coupon or deal you are interested in has not already expired. Also, merchants may in rare cases withdraw deals before they expire as all deals are subject to change.
• If you are unable to make use of a listed deal, please notify us at problem@definitivedeals.com and we will look into the problem. Please make sure to include details about the specific merchant and/or deal that you are trying to use.

The coupon or coupon code does not work

If you are unable to make use of a certain coupon code, please check the following:

• Make sure you click the link from definitivedeals.com and place your order via the new browser window that openes up. Many times the links contain the actual discuont code and other information that may be required by the merchant for the offer to be valid.
• If a coupon code was listed, verify that you entered the code exactly as it appears and in the correct designated field on the merchant site. Some coupon codes are case sensitive.
• Make sure that the coupon has not expired.
• Verify that you have fulfilled all requirements for the coupon. Some coupons require that you spend a minimum amount and others are only valid for a specific product or combination of products. Also, merchants may in rare cases withdraw deals before they expire as all deals are subject to change.
• If you are still having problems using the coupon, please let us know at problem@definitivedeals.com and we will look into the problem. Make sure to include details on which coupon you are trying to use.

My coupon has already been used?

Some deals and coupons are valid for only short periods of time and some have restrictions on how many times each coupon can be redeemed. In most cases only one coupon can be applied per order. If you want to use a time or use restricted coupon, make sure to redeem it early!

Do I have to pay to use your coupons or sign up somewhere?

All coupons and deals provided on our site are FREE for you to use. Also, you do not need an account with us - so there is no sign-up required. We do suggest that you sign up for our newsletter so you don't miss out on any new hot coupons or deals!

Can I use these coupons in regular stores too?

Coupons found at DefinitiveDeals are intended for online purchases only (unless the coupon details specifically states that it is redeemable in a store). Please make sure the read the rules and regulations carefully. In cases where a coupon is valid in a regular store, bring a printout of the coupon with you.

What deals are listed here?

Deals, promotions, coupons and coupon codes listed at DefinitiveDeals are obtained from the merchants, their marketing partners and our staff that continuously reviews hundreds of emails weekly and searches the Internet for the best deals.

For how long are the deals valid?

Each deals expiration date (if known) is listed next to the deal or coupon. Some deals also show a specific expiration time in addition to the date. The expiration time (where available) is shown in the merchant's time zone. Note that even if a coupon or deal has expired, it might still work! For this reason; we list expired coupon codes and deals for about seven days after their expiration.

The deal is listed as ongoing, when does it expire?

An ongoing deal or coupon does not have a current expiration date. It is usually valid until the merchant withdraws the deal or coupon.

Who is selling the items I'm looking at?

You are always buying from the merchant you visit by following the links from DefinitiveDeals. We are a service that provides listings of deals for a variety of merchants. Please note that any agreement, purchase or financial transaction you enter into with merchants listed here is an agreement between you and those merchants

Why are you showing expired deals?

Expired deals are shown as a courtesy to our visitors and may still work! If the coupon expired recently, you could try to apply it as merchants sometimes do not remove the discounts immediately. The list of expired coupons also acts as references in case a user want to go back and review the deal, coupon or product shown. Please note that the link for some expired deals may no longer work - this is often due to the merchant removing that specific page. Expired deals are listed for about seven days after which they are permanently removed.

What about upcoming deals?

Upcoming deals are listed as a courtesy to our visitors. This allows you to see what deals, promotions and coupons a specific merchant will be launching shortly. Please note that although links may be active and coupon codes may be shown, they are usually not fully functional and not eligible until the deal becomes active.
